Measured Progress Connects

Project Description

The assignment was to create a banner for a landing-page on the Measured Progress website with the following characteristics:

  • Size: 610px x 135px
  • Use the “Measured Progress Connects” theme.
  • Illustrate the message of bridging the gaps between assessment, data, and instruction.
  • Use elements from layered Photoshop images created by illustrator Sandra Dionisi for Measured Progress.
  • Include a photograph of a student and a teacher.

Project Details

  • The banner was created in Adobe Photoshop CS5.5.
  • The bridge was created in Adobe Illustrator CS5.5.
  • The photograph was originally a jpg that I modified by cutting out the background.

First in Multistate Collaboration

Project Description

Measured Progress was the first large-scale assessment company to build a coalition of states to adopt the same academic standards. This banner was created to reinforce that achievement. The original request was to:

  • Size: 610px x 135px
  • Use the “First in Multistate Collaboration” theme.
  • Communicate the message “There’s strength in numbers.
  • Use elements from layered Photoshop images created by illustrator Sandra Dionisi for Measured Progress.
  • Include a photograph of students.

Large-Scale Assessment

Project Description

This assignment was to create a banner highlighting what clients can count on from Measured Progress Large-Scale Assessments. The following attributes were to be included.

  • Size: 610px x 135px
  • Emphasize the benefits of working with Measured Progress to develop large-scale assessments.
  • Illustrate the ability of Measured Progress to work anywhere across the nation. This was accomplished by building the city landscape with recognizable structures from coast to coast.
  • Use textured backgrounds to give a similar look and feel as the images created by illustrator Sandra Dionisi for Measured Progress.
  • Include a photograph of students.

  • The coast-to-coast city was created in Adobe Illustrator CS5.5.
  • The photographs were originally jpg images that I modified by cutting out the backgrounds.
